It’s normal to argue with each other on different things and there is nothing wrong with disagreeing on certain situations, but when these arguments and disagreements remain unresolved they start to create problems. With the help of a few tips, you and your partner can keep all the conflicts away from your relationship:
1. Have time for yourself. It’s better to sit down for a while on your own and block your negative thoughts. Ask your partner to leave you for a while so that you can gather your thoughts and communicate in a more positive way.
2. Convert your negative thoughts into positive ones. Instead of finding ways to criticize each other or looking for negative things, you should focus on all the positive bits. Develop the ability to overcome your negative feelings and turn them the opposite way.
3. Respect each other’s opinions. No matter how badly you disagree with your partner never jump to any conclusion. Instead, do let them express their feelings and respect their suggestions.
4. Try to understand your partner. When you are dealing with a specific issue, it’s easy to point fingers at each other but instead if you try to listen to what the other person has to say you can understand each other more deeply.
